- have gotten so used to just chopping the stems up and throwing them in with the rest of the broccoli in whatever I’m cooking at the time that I never thought of other options
- pickling is probably the easiest option – and along the lines of Japanese tsukemono, there’s plenty of quick pickle options
- or really go all out and take on fermentation – chop or shred the stems, add salt and aim for broccoli kraut or broccoli kimchi
I mean, having either White Star Line or J.P. Morgan involved in insurance scams is rather believable … every good conspiracy needs a grain of truth …

on the flip side, Linux, the distros, the desktops are a lot more about community than anything Windows – and Linux projects are a lot more willing to admit they can’t operate in isolation – there’s constant interplay between the projects, the security teams, the kernel hackers, the language devs, the testers, and the users – and they communicate with each other through the blogs and mailing lists and IRC and toots and Fedi communities
