King County Metro has a pickup within the block, but it takes 45 minutes to take that bus to the light rail, so about 1:20 to get to the city one way. When the Lynnwood extension opens then that will be cut down significantly, and with East Link I may be able to go down to a 1-car household

I think this is honestly a great time to evangelize Lemmy. Folks, reach out to your niche communities and let them know about their lemmy alternatives. If your sub is going dark, give those users a landing space for where they can go in those 2 days

Lemmy.ml is also inundated with new members right now, they’re actually 404ing for me right now, so they may be having issues connecting.

No idea if you’re into it, but I’m working on running my own organized instance for popheads, think Taylor Swift, Camila Cabello, Lana Del Rey, there are dozens, if not hundreds of subs in that category that I think deserve their own instance. (Even SwiftieCircleJerk, which I love)
