You’re right, she should’ve eaten it. It was SNL after all; maybe that would’ve gotten a more enticing ambivalent reaction.

She didn’t burn it, she ripped it into pieces. She will definitely be remembered as an iconoclast but obviously hasn’t held up to be that impactful, as people apparently don’t even remember what she did.

I was actually slightly interested in this when I first saw the gameplay, but after seeing a bit of the dialogue in a trailer I was flabbergasted by how cringey it was. It seems like it was written by a teenager who just got done watching pulp fiction for the first time and wanted to see how many cuss words they could cram into each sentence.

SUPERFINE

Omega polygons in the og, lol. Man, I’m so hyped for FoR. I’ve always loved mechs from gundam as a wee lad, but unfortunately never tried out the old AC games. So awesome From decided to go back to this; I’ve enjoyed Souls quite a bit and was blown away by Bloodborne, but even though I obsessively Played Elden Ring, I’m pretty fatigued on the Souls/borne/sekiro format it became and glad they are releasing something different even though it’s going back to an older series. With the exception of remakes, I don’t think I’ve played anything “new” since ER.

@UnshavedYak for real. It’s so refreshing not having to see loads of wasted awards on the most facile, idiotic comments. Or the obnoxious avatars people made in place of their pfp. It seems so hyperbolic but it genuinely feels great not having to see all that anymore.

That’s exactly what I was thinking. Even with federation off it feels like it’s already turning into a smaller version of what we had before. Not so much with post content or comments per se, but more for the already established “power users” and recreation of the exact same garbage, popular subs. I can’t believe how many people I’ve already blocked that I got sick of seeing on every single post.

It blows my mind so many gaming podcasts I listen to glossed over that when it happened. Like, it was so freaking bad they removed the game from the store, inhibiting anyone from purchasing it digitally. And everyone in the industry covered it like it was just any other bad, poorly launched game. No, it was extremely bad; truly broken in myriad of ways.

I always use them whether playing a game or watching a film; definitely if I’m watching a documentary.

I left after the front page continually recommended the “call her daddy” podcast to me over and over again despite my listening history that couldn’t be further from that “content.”
