I’m not complaining, I just didn’t receive any notification. Not sure if it’s a bug or if intentional.

Anyone else?

I do strongly disapprove of how AI is being leveraged currently, FWIW.

I was added as a mod to a community by surprise a while back - Lenovo. I don’t actually know much about Lenovo. It seems like the system should ask for your confirmation - people could be added to subs they don’t want to be associated with.

That happened to me on Lemmy Shitpost one day. But I’ve tried to roll with it. Good luck.

Well, I do appreciate the offer, but I’m going to remove myself. I don’t think I’m passionate enough on this topic to motivate myself to make time for anything resembling any kind of actual moderation duties. I say this with no snarkiness intended, this is just the naked truth, and would likely be true no matter what sub this was. I don’t think I can remain a moderator (even an inactive one) in good faith.

Thank you all!

OK, today I’m a mod again somehow. In the modlog I can see the timestamp from when I removed myself. I do not see an entry where I was re-modded, for whatever reason. @VerbFlow@lemmy.world I’m removing myself again now. If you happen to know how I keep being added as a mod, please make that thing stop. :)
