The funny part is that 3 of the 4 families are mixed race or children of immigrants.
It’s not just extremely common, it’s nearly the entire population.
99% of all americans have either a great grandparent, a grandparent, or a parent who’s foreign born, or are themselves a foreign born citizen/permanent resident.
We are the nationless state, and the state of all nations.
Tbf, if you didn’t know who these people were, none of them look like they’d necessarily be bad neighbors just on account of this picture. Trump even looks uncharacteristically friendly here, and Vance just looks like some random Joe out in the yard with his family
I mostly agree except for Don’s sons who look like a couple of badgers doing their best human impression.
You know, I dunno. The Vance family looks like they’d be fine neighbors. They just go through a lot of couches.
I know it’s hard to find real images of these families since most pics online are going to be PR-approved. But that image of the Vance family is quite disingenuous.
The Vances are cosplaying as a regular rural family, but he is an Ivy graduate who sold himself to a twisted libertarian billionaire, and she is a highly paid Ivy lawyer that has worked with the corrupt conservative SCOTUS judges. A real picture of those 2 would be in fancy dressing at an exclusive cocktail party for the dirty right-wing powers trying to control the country. Far from salt-of-the-earth Americans just trying to live their lives.
I can relate to the walz trying to take a pic with pets. That dog is 100% squirming
That dog is 100% a BUM. One time he managed to get himself locked in a room in the governer’s mansion, and the fire department had to be called to get him out.
This was his face on being rescued:
Look at this unrepentant little asshole. 15/10, I love him, perfect dog.
TBF, those antique doorknob lock things have always been tricky to operate. He doesn’t even have thumbs! I’m pretty sure that I’m the only one of the kids that didn’t accidentally lock themselves in the bathroom of the house we had that had that style of door knobs and locks, and that was only because I taught myself how to pick locks by the age of two.
