What the human mind does during existential terror is amazing and self-preserving.
What an invading terrorist nation does is use casualties as chaff.
I guess we will never know.
So you think they thought it would be like a lizard dropping it’s tail? The drone would get distracted?
It’s like in the movies where a sailing ship’s crew throws stuff overboard to lighten the load.
I always wonder when I see these kind of videos - is there anything these guys can do to save their skin? Is there a way to communicate surrender, or were they given the ultimate death sentence?
Anyhow, this bit of curiosity in itself is much more compassion than what this invasive species ever deserved
Staying within their own borders. But yes, there’s plenty of drone surrender videos out there too, but of course there’s no guarantee that a surrender to a drone is going to work out for a variety of reasons, including getting potentially shot / shelled by your own guys for trying to surrender.
