This is definitely not true. Teslas can absolutely go through a car wash. They do recommend touchless ones, but pretty much every manufacturer does.

Yeah man. People love to bash Elon and rightfully so. I live in Southern California, I drive a Tesla and a lot of my friends do also. I used to travel a lot for work, and would regularly rent nice cars for weeks on end. My Tesla is the car I’ve enjoyed most ever, and it’s not really even close.

Yeah it has problems. But what car doesn’t? Nothing is perfect. But for me, the features that Teslas have check all the boxes in a really novel and enjoyable way.

It’s called voir dire, and it’s more complicated than that. For a case this size the counsels will likely have done focus groups to see what traits, etc. tend to test well against the client. So yes, they are theoretically screening for biases, but the selection is ultimately up to both councils, so it’s a balancing act of stacking the jury in your favor.

When you describe it like that… I feel like it makes more sense. Like, of course the penguin is gonna want his safety stones. I buy that.
