You’re the one pretending that everything is alright because you make the wrong choice under the false assumption that nothing can be done… because doing something involves giving up some comfort and not risking getting injured or killed.

Right. So you think that when fascist are in power suddenly that’s going to change? No. So if you’re right, and you are, in general for most people, it’s a lot easier to ‘do something’ without being under the constant threat of punishment.
It’s not a false assumption to assume most people aren’t going to risk anything. You’re completely right. But it’s actually another reason to make certain that the fascists aren’t going to take over… See?
It doesn’t make it easier to ‘do something’.
