Our politics and the general state of things? I wouldn’t describe us that way.

Compared to the politics and the general state of the 1940s? I, uh, would very much emphasize that the past is a much uglier place.

For now. There’s huge groups of people wanting to make the world 1940 again. And even more idiots that are willing to help.
