Not to bash you op (definitely not, since this is a pretty successful meme), but I’ve started to feel like this format lately is missing what made me love the first few pictures (and the first one, 3-4 years ago).

“Hold the fuck up! (I’m the fuck up, hold me)” And “Sorry for being vulnerable. Do you still find me hot?” in particular, got it right, as in:

It’s not just self-deprecation, it’s self-deprecation while still calling out to the other person to care.
