As fucked up as it sounds, albinism might be the closest thing to shiny animals. People collect and breed albino animals because they’re rare and different looking from others, but would that mean humans can be shiny? In the Pokémon universe, humans are actually a type of Pokémon, so shiny human Pokémon may be canonical, but even talking about it feels icky.
