Ok? Preferential changes cost money. What’s the issue?
Why, because I question people’s reasoning on why they want the government to do this for free when I, as a tax payer do not want to fund things that only effect you as an individual?
Your generic ‘fun at parties’ does not apply to this scenario at all…
Ah yes, the old “I don’t wanna pay taxes for things I don’t use” argument, I guess we should just stop funding medicare/medicade because not everyone uses it, right? While we’re at it we should also get rid of all government assistance programs, since only a small portion of the population uses them, that sounds like a great idea. /s
I guess we should take away healthcare, since that only affects individuals. Sick people should pull themselves up by their own bootstraps!
Breaking news, dipshit. Everyone deserves access to government services. That’s what the fucking government is there for.
Why does it literally cost over $100 to change two lines on a piece of paper? Literally, why put such a ridiculously inflated price on a government service?
Why do I need to pay to renew the registration of my car?
Why do I need to pay to register my in pets with the government?
Why do I need to pay for a police records check?
Why does my doctor charge for a doctor’s note?
Nothing is free…either pay and change your information, or don’t? I don’t see what’s hard about this. Government entities have rules and fees associated to items for admin costs etc…
If you want it free, lobby to get the taxes increased so taxes can cover it so it’s ‘free’…which in turn you’d still pay for.
I don’t understand why this is even an issue for people…
Why does my doctor charge for a doctor’s note?
You think people should PAY for healthcare? LMFAO
