But seriously we’ve had ups, fedex and amazon drivers deliver packages in ways that our front door or gate could not be opened. Kept complaining but one time we complained saying they could of killed us (Front door being blocked could kill someone in certain cases) poor cs rep trying to say no but uh yeah. I dunno what they put in our file but very rarely does it happen anymore. (and don’t get me started on USPS where we had to talk to the post master general to stop that BS)

I feel like the moral of this post should be less of UPS incompetence but rather the vulnerabilities of our homes. Imagine If this happened to the elderly or disabled, and nobody was there to open it. Some will go to wild lengths to avoid calling for help or 911.

If it’s on an apartment it has to so it can meet fire code where I’m from.

That wasn’t a joke suggestion? Never heard of that where I’m from. Does your magical land of fire safety also have fire-resistant cladding and insulation?

Just take the doorknob off… They’re on the inside. With the screws. Takes like 5 minutes
