Yeah I mean the kids are being light hearted, the boomers are obviously seriously mad lol.

It’s probably a local thing with chat apps like WhatsApp fully replacing text messaging over here

I’m not anti-emoji at all but the “I’M NOT MAD LOOK AT HOW MANY 🤣 😂 🤣 😂 🤣 😂 🤣 😂 I USED” is pure uses them a lot.
